i'm katie- great to meet you!
I'm an aerospace engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin and a creative fiction author! I love to travel, hike, do craft projects, launch rockets, and connect with old and new friends over a good cup of coffee.

I'm the author of three fiction novels, including my new release, the infinity between! The first two, Colonized and Pioneered, are under the pen name Kimberly Tate- but yes, they are my books, too!

Currently, I'm an analog astronaut with a group called Asclepios in Switzerland training to be part of a simulated Moon mission. I've previously interned at Blue Origin and AGILE Space Industries, and my heart belongs to the Texas Rocket Engineering Lab! Writing and engineering are quite different, but I love that in both, I get to be creative!
All in all, this life is an adventure, and I'm so excited to share it with you here on my blog!
